Reimbursements for the care of Medicare patients have already been reduced by 2.75% in 2022 and will be reduced by another 4% on January 1, 2023. 

Further reductions would severely impact access to care for Medicare patients as it hits while medical practices are facing a severe workforce shortage and, in the best cases, recovering from the financial impact of the COVID-19 public health emergency.
